Bath phobia after bad experience - how to fix?

I tried bathing my son on Sunday after he skinned his knees quite badly. It led to him screaming crying, "ouch ouch! Hurt!" And I had to stop the bath.
We gave it a few days for him to scab up. Last night he was scared so I went in the bath to help him. The second he got on my lap he was hysterical. Hyperventilating, screaming, crying. We tried waiting for him to calm down but after about seven minutes it wasn't letting up so we stopped. It was so intense 😭. The rest of the evening he was talking about his ouchie knees every few minutes
How do I get him to bathe again? Shower is not an option unfortunately

Poor baby :( my daughter has had similar experiences so I understand how scary it can be. I wonder how he would do with an outside bath? Like playing in the hose and eventually you could throw some shampoo in his hair… also maybe you could role play this with toys? Like maybe use some action figures and get them messy and have him help you bathe them. Maybe you could wrap his knees in plastic wrap before a bath? I know it’s so sad when they get SO upset like this. šŸ’—

Disassociate the hurt on his knees to the water in the tub. Fill the bath up one day and just play on the outside of the tub then get some water from in the tub and play with it and show him it doesn’t hurt. Then try sitting on the side of the tub and kick feet in the water and then slide down into the water. It may not happen in one day, but i hope he just forgets his fear soon. I’m currently dealing with my 10 month old not wanting to be in the tub anymore and I have no idea why. It’s not every time but random days he’ll whine if I put him in and try to climb out

Let him play in the water a couple of times without trying to bathe him. You might even have to start with an empty tub and some favorite toys.

My son started doing this as well without having had any bad bath experiences. He went from loving the bath so much so that I could never get him out to all of a sudden having a traumatic meltdown when I tried to put him in right after he turned two. I asked him what he was afraid of and he said ā€œdrownā€ which I have no idea where he would have even heard that word from. Currently having to put on swim trunks and get into the water with him until he feels comfortable enough for me to sit on the edge or get out. so far this is the only way I can get him to not freak out.

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong šŸ¤”. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
