That’s okay! Not everyone loses their plug or dilates till 40 and sometimes after! Your body and baby knows what their doing. I didn't dilate at all with my first until i went into labor (water broke). I understand being tired, but letting baby stay in there as long as possible is best. Natural ways to "help kickstart labor" can be 1. pumping/expressing 2. yoga ball exercises and lots of walking 3. sx (sperm contains the hormones that can soften your cervix and dilate you) 4. orgsming in general can cause contractions that can begin dilating your cervix. Natural ways to PREPARE your cervix and uterus and may help make labor quicker and less painful, but do not necessarily "induce you" are 1. eating dates 2. eating pineapple 3. drinking labor teas 4. castor oil 5. n!pple stimulation without expressing/pumping 6. evening primrose oil 7. kegel exercises 8. raspberry leaf tea

I wish I could help but I went to 41+6 with my first, but still went into spontaneous labor! I did "all the things" EXCEPT a prenatal massage and acupuncture. Im doing those this time around, so maybe look into those? Also to mention, I never lost my mucus plug and I wasn't dilated even at 41w.

I made it until 40+5, I went to acupuncture sessions to induce labor which it didn’t induce it but when I went to the hospital to have the induction, things were quick and I didn’t need pitocin

@Gabriela Omg ok I have been 1000% convinced to do it. How many did you do and how far along were you when you got them, if you don't mind me asking?

@Charlotte I had 3 sessions one a day for three days. I began doing them as soon as I became 40 weeks. The session is intense since the therapist tightens the needles during the session and you might feel your baby moving a lot.

@Gabriela oh wow that's crazy, kinda scary lol are you going to do it this time around too??

I moved around my entire bedroom by myself 😂 pushed the bed to another wall, my dresser, vacuumed, everything hahah I was 39 weeks and 3 days. Started having cramping maybe 1.5 hours later which were not consistent then suddenly it hit haha

Heya!! I know you wanna have baby soon! I feel that! I did natural inducing stuff with my first baby and I truly regret it. It was SO much on my body and I had horrible early contractions for 3 days before I was finally admitted. So I no longer do anything to induce I only do natural things to help when I’m in labor Such as: Dates Raspberry leaf tea And stretches or prep stuff on the pregnancy ball. That’s just my side of things ☺️💕

I’m 39w + 2d, I also haven’t lost my mucus plug yet & no cramping either 😮‍💨 I just found out 2 days ago that I’m 1cm dilated & she did a membrane sweep. Yesterday I had a labor inducing with acupuncture massage. Still no cramping just an unborn child who moves around A LOT 🫠

@Charlotte I did it with my first, I was due on February, I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t have my induction scheduled and I didn’t want to go overdue.

I just took some castor oil to hopefully get things started 😭👍🏻

I think you should just wait until baby wants to come out
