Lost mucus plug and cramps
Been cramping since doing the deed. Managed to ignore it for about 5 hours and talk through the cramps.
Tried to go to sleep but couldn’t, though cramps could be me needing the toilet so go to the toilet and wipe, 100% lost my mucus plug.
Since then, for the last 2 hours I’ve been having more intense cramps, can’t sleep and they are lasting about 40 seconds and coming every 5-6 minutes.
Should I call triage? I have no idea if these are contractions, they feel like really bad period pains/ needing to poop pains.

@Sarah thank you. Called them twice now. First they told me to call back when I was every 3-4 mins, now they are telling me I need to phone back when I’m every 2 mins. 😭

If they are coming consistently then that sounds like contractions! I have been told to call when I am having 3 contractions in 10 mins… second baby. Or you can always call and see what they advise x
