YALL PLEASE HELP, it’s been two weeks of me trying to wean my baby off of the bottle and onto a straw cup or sippy cup. He usually drinks from the Phillips Avent glass bottles, which I think is the culprit. It’s an emotional connection he has to his milk bottle. He drinks water out of his Owala cup but refuses to drink milk out of anything else but his Phillips Avent bottle. I’ve tried a regular sippy cup style, the oxo tot transition cup, the dr browns narrow weighted straw cup, a regular ol open face silicone cup, and the muchkin transition cup, he will not take milk out of any of them!! Mommas did anything like this happen to you?

Philips avent sorry Siri
@Eliza omg I think I know which ones you’re talking about!! I haven’t tried those out yet- I just keep doubting it 😂 and they’re a lil pricy for just two straws. But I’m desperate now so I’ll give it a try!
https://amzn.to/4msA9Pz just be careful if he throws it because they can break. I put mine in a coozie, which helps, but you can buy specific sleeves for these bottles, but I figured why spend more money if a coozie works.
@Eliza just bought it!!! Pray for me girl lmao thank you! And yes I have the special sleeves 😭 he has also yet to hold his own bottle. He holds everything else including his water cup, but his bottle he demands to be held for him 😂 my baby is emotional like his mommy
@Sabrina he sounds like a sweet boy. Hey you won’t have the opportunity to do this for him forever so savor it!
@Eliza so true girl ❤️ thank you!!
@Allison I just ordered the straw parts!! But if those don’t work this will be my next step lol thanks girl!
@Sabrina it’s exactly the same thing as the Phillips nipple now just in sippy cup form. It’s neat
