I’m struggling, my mental health struggles when things get messy. I don’t mind lived in but I feel like my house goes from everyday lived in to disaster in 2-3 days. I’m behind on so much laundry, dishes, I have so much baking to do as well. I’ll clean all day or night and do a day of baking which burns me out and then I start getting behind fast. We don’t have to money to hire help right now. I want to be an organized and clean person but it just seems impossible. I was planning on homeschooling but we decided to hold off a year and see if it helps my constant feeling of overwhelmed. My partner helps usually is the one doing the dishes, yard work, house projects, stays on top of their laundry. So much other stuff is going on and I just want my house be my safe spot. Our house is not big I just don’t know why I can’t stay on top of it. Anyone else been here and have tips on how to get through it?
I think I might have ADHD. I get to the point no matter how much I want to get up and do my list of chores I just can’t.

I have this issue. Have my whole life. I love to cook and bake and AUDHD or whatever they call it that I have makes for constant little messes that make catching up impossible. My advice, get on track to get a bi weekly cleaner (mine just left lol) so you can forget about the bathrooms completely besides a little maintenance in between. Letting the pressure off of yourself is so important. Realize it will never be perfect and that’s okay! You’re doing amazing. Focus on having clean clothes to wear and yummy food to eat ❤️ Also! Having a nighttime tidying routine that’s less than an hour with my man helps a lot for the mornings to not be so visually overwhelming. Sorry if this was chaotic, hang in there mama! 🫶🏼

Relatable ❤️ you don’t have ADHD you’re lacking a community of woman who use to share these duties once upon a time ago. Just get a planner and dedicate 20 minutes here and there and learn to feel content presently with imperfect.. the kids will grow up one day and everything will be easier to manage then, but until then it won’t all get done. I try to manage like just prioritizing the most important tasks first that weigh heaviest on me to relieve some stress. Also, I enjoyed the book Practicing the Power of Now 💕

currently 13 weeks pregnant and shew i’m struggling with the house. my mind is telling me to clean but my body won’t let me. i’m so far behind. my husband tries to hard to help when he is home but it’s not enough to really make a big difference. i grew up in a messy unorganized house and seeing my own house look like that. it’s driving me insane. one of my friends is coming over next week to help me catch up. i can only tackle small tasks. like yesterday i did a load of dishes and made dinner. i haven’t cooked a real meal in weeks. and i transferred the laundry before bed. it’s still sitting there to be switched again 😅

But I think the hardest part for me I’ve been realizing is that I find it hard to relax because I am always unsatisfied with how much I’ve done.. like even when I’m caught up on the main things I find more I need to do it just never ends and that’s something I recently realized I need stop doing and to try to stop sabotaging myself with constantly feeling inadequate or like life is inadequate, it’s so deeply rooted in me and I just mentally drained of it

Also watch minimalistic living videos and purge through your home! Feels sooooo good to get ride of chaos in the home

This was literally me. My mom just spent 2 days with me deep cleaning my entire house and folding all the laundry I had which was so much it was taking over majority of my couches. I’m hoping to keep it clean now that I have a clean slate but we’ll see 😂

same 😭😭😂😂😂 I understand this on a deep level fr . I watch Natalie outlet on YouTube she has some pretty good tips

It’s sucks when your the only one actively cleaning the house when I’m not the only one that lives here
