Hi all, my LO is currently 10 months and weighs 10kg. I want to get him a new car seat because his head always flops forwards when he’s asleep. But I can’t find any that would last longer than birth-13kg.
Do I suck it up and buy a new infant car seat and replace after 13kg or is there one out there that I haven’t come across yet?
Thank you

You can try the axkid movekid or the Britax max safe pro
These will last rear facing till 36kg so around 6/7 years old!
Makes more sense getting one of these than going for another infant carrier as they all only go to around 13kg

If he’s 10 months old you don’t need a from birth one. You could get a next stage seat that are often 6ish months to 5-7 years.
We love our besafe stretch, even on the most upright setting, my girl doesn’t get headflop, but you can recline it really easily too.

There are car seats that go up to 36kg so I think you're just not looking in the right places. We have the Axkid one.

Joie spin 360 is up to 4 years, Ive heard good reviews on them

I would go for the next seat up that will last him till he’s ready to forward face, if he’s over the 50th percentiles brands such as axkid or the Avionaut sky are really good seats and comfy for extended rear facing 🙂 (if they are on or below the 50th percentile joie seats can last till a decent rear facing age too )

At that age he could have an Axkid Minikid 4, rear faces up to 36kg and is Swedish plus tested so safer than the standard UK seats. We have the 2, which rear faces until 25kg and the quality is unreal x

Get one for the next stage, they come with inserts for small kids, he will fit.
