I feel like I have millions of question today.
For the mamas with 2 under 2 how much roughly was nursery fees? I have just seen the bill for one child and almost fainted .
I don’t want to give up now as we’re 16 weeks now but everything just sounds stressful 😣

For 1 with the free hours in the uk it’s around £1k

We have two kids in nursery 4 days a week and after the free hours and the tax free childcare are taken into account it’s about £1200.

I think it really depends where you live as fees vary. I’m due in July and already started looking as most places near me are full until September 2026 😭 and with funding full time for one baby it’s coming out at £1400 😰 that’s in Hampshire

We've just had our second child and will have two in nursery for around 8 months. Im looking at returning to work full time and worked out it would roughly be £1000 a month for both of them once you've taken into account funding and tax free childcare

It's expensive and why we waited to have a three year gap. We still had a 5 month overlap of both in nursery four days a week and it was more than our mortgage per month. So I think it was around £2.5k for both. That included any funded hours and tax free childcare.
All these numbers are available ahead of time so I'm not sure why it's surprising 🙈

Dont forget free hour increase to 30 from sept this year from 9 months. So should reduce costs further

Wow, it amazes me reading all the comments. I don’t get any benefits. It costs 2150 pounds for one child.
