Ear piercing gone wrong

Hiya so my baby girl is 5 months old and she got one of her ear piercings pierced wrong. It was pierced upwards instead of straight, she suddenly moved really strong while I was holding her. Obviously I took out the piercing so how long does it heal and close up? TIA 🤗

4-6 weeks is usually the timeframe after it’s pierced and can change it so it should close by then hopefully

Lobes very rarely fully close tbh 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why are we piercing baby’s ears? Cuz it’s cute? Idk to pierce a baby who can’t even consent to anything it’s kinda weird come at me if you must but why does a baby need their ears pierced
