Sweating a lot after taking 5ml ibuprofen. 19 month old should I be worried

Basically should I call 111, go to A&E or GP tomorrow or is this normal?
He has had a temp 38 which calpol hasn’t managed to put down since late afternoon. This night before bed, I’ve given him ibuprofen approximately 2-3 hours after last calpol.
He is in bed sleeping but drenched in sweat.

I’m so tired of these fevers I keep sleeping so late because I’m unwell as well.

Is the fever breaking when baby is sweating? Sweating coukd be a sign of fever breaking. A temp of 38°C is 100.4°F? That's just barely a fever so I wouldn't be too concerned.

I’m not sure what fever breaking means? Do you mean come down? Yes it is the temp has come down to 35.6C which is good. Is sweating a way to do that? I didn’t know

Yes! Fever breaking is it comes down. 35.6 is pretty low, are you sure that your thermometer is accurate? But yes, sweating can happen when the body works through a fever. It can also be accompanied with chills as the body temp lowers.

Sweat is the body cooling down. I usually see that as a good sign. If temp has come down then it’s good. Whilst temp is down get as many fluids down little one as possible
