What age would you buy hot wheels for your child?
I know the recommended age is 3+, but my child has played with them at play groups and really likes them.

Does he like to get stuff into his mouth? With the right force those wheels could come off.

They're 3+ because of the choking hazard with the small parts. My nephew managed to get the wheels off all the time.

Mines been playing with them since 18m but like others have said the wheels can come off so depends if he likes to put things in his mouth or anything. I watched mine like a hawk and check the cars regularly

My kid always loved them and still does I bought them as soon as he wanted them which was about 10 months I know small parts blah blah but I only let him play with them at that age if I was actively watching him he never got away with chewing on them plus he was walking talking at 10 months

My little boy got given some hot wheels stuff when he was 2 & by then he had learned not to put things in his mouth so he was fine.

My son has played with my hot wheel collection since birth he started getting very interested once he reached over 12 months. I always supervise him, but he’s always play with them normal and rolls them on the floor

My daughter has never been one to put things in her mouth so she has been playing with them since about a year. Definitely depends on the child, supervise them and see how it goes.
You can also get bigger cars with wheels that are too big to be swallowed if you are concerned about that. My daughter likes the little ones though cause they fit in her pockets 😂

My son loves his hot wheel (and any other cars that we have). He's been playing with them since before he was 1.
Yes they can be choking hazards because of the small movable parts. Just keep an eye on them while they play and always check for loose or missing parts

We didn’t really introduce multiple hotwheel sized toy cars til he was closer to 2 years old, before that we stuck with bigger sized toy cars

My dude is 2 and loves them but he’s not a “mouther” kid an rarely puts anything in his mouth, obviously keep an eye on any loose bits ❤️

She got them at 2, loves them and never puts things in her mouth plus I usually supervise as they go everywhere.
It’s worth noting that a lot of toys say 3+ even if there’s no little parts because baby toys have different regulations and testing to kids toys and that’s the age cut off.
