For the Chinese gender chart do you use your actual age or add a year? (Lunar age)

I’ve seen people say both. When I had my son it said boy for my age and +1 year and it was right either way as I did have a boy.
But for this time it’s saying boy for my actual age and girl for +1 year and I don’t know which one it’s actually meant to be!
I know it’s not certain but I’m just intrigued as it was right last time🤣
