New momma here my oldest will be one June 20th and I currently have a baby in the nicu. Struggling to juggle both while also worries about a new routine when I return home and to work😔

Hey mama!! My youngest is turning one on June 20!!! Things will always fall in place, stay strong!
Not a NICU mom but my June 2024 baby was hospitalized for a month and we spent time in the PICU. We came home with an NG tube when he was 4 months old and I had to balance that with a 3 year old as well is pumping and nursing and doing tube feeds. Thankfully my oldest adapted pretty well to everything, kids are pretty flexible, I'm sure your older baby will get used to things even if they seem crazy at first ❤️ After we got discharged my mom came over every day for about a month to help out with his tube feedings and my husband and I alternated night time tube feedings so we could each get a little bit of sleep. Make sure you have a good support system of people to help you out. I'm a stay at home mom, have you thought about taking that route? I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through if I had to worry about work too 😣 Having a sick baby is a full-time job even after you get to go home. You could also see if there are any support groups for NICU moms! It's so so hard but you're doing amazing ♥️
