I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant and am the exact same weight as I was when I conceived! I am obese (5ft 2 and 14 stone) so I know that I don’t need to gain as much as a woman at a healthy weight, but wondered if anyone has had/is having a similar experience?
I’m certainly not complaining about not gaining weight, but I want to make sure that it’s not going to have a negative impact on baby. I’m not purposely dieting but have really lost my appetite and am craving healthy foods like salad (I honestly have no idea what my body is doing 😂).
Any suggestions, tips or advice are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance x

Its all good, my first pregnancy I went from 53kg to 45kg at the end and no concerns were raised and baby was perfectly healthy and a great weight x

Absolutely fine. I weigh slightly less than i did at my booking appt. Same as you, im craving healthy foods to when ive actually got an appetite

Would say fine! I've stayed pretty much the same this pregnancy! I can hardly eat now as just feel full and when I want to it's just fruit or fish! Started at 8.5 stone and just 9 at the moment x

I barely gained any my first pregnancy but was also BMI obese. I think I lost weight on my body as all my intake went to baby. I had a very healthy little boy who weighed 6/11. I think sometimes when you are bigger not gaining lots of weight is common x

My first pregnancy I lost weight due to sickness/appetite and had a healthy baby so I wouldn’t worry too much about not gaining weight.
My bump measured small and I was sent for growth scans to be told I was having a “large” baby - they weren’t and I knew they weren’t! Pleased I stuck to my gut instinct as I was right!
