My little girl is walking, and we went to our 10-12 months review and they called her a ‘show off’ most of the other babies her age were just sitting up and some not crawling just yet(it was a group review) I keep seeing people on tiktok saying their babies have just started crawling. Is she ahead or is this normal?? One tired mama who needs eyes in the back of her head 😂

Just started crawling here. However, she's trying her best to stand up, so I don't think it will be long, but then I did say that about crawling and I think that took about 3 months to actually happen 🤣

The average age for walking is 12-15 months, so she is ahead of the curve but all babies develop at their own pace. My little girl started walking at 10 months so I feel you for needing eyes in the back of your head! I miss the days where you could plop them down and they'd still be there when you got back!

Rolling and crawling for ages but just starting to pull himself up. She's not ahead and babies only just sitting aren't behind. Every baby develops different skills at different times. Save yourself the stress. Be proud and enjoy her milestones without comparing x

Mines just started crawling, and this morning pulled herself up on the sofa. I'm not ready for this 😫😫😫

Mine bum shuffles and crawls backwards 😂 she's just started thinking about pulling herself onto the sofa, I think to terrorise the cat 😂

It's perfectly normal. Both my children started walking at 11 months.

My first was walking at 9 months, and running around by now, this one is standing, have to remind myself that actually he’s on track and not lazy 😂

Mine stood up at 7 months but now he is 11 and it's still not walking without holding himself to a surface.

Mine walks but not confident yet ,she’s getting there . She’ll walk a longer distance when she’s mad and crying lol

Yes walking and can say about 30 words so far.

Mine has been pulling up cruising since about 8 months old so I was convinced he'd walk before turning 1 but he just doesn't have the confidence to let go of whatever he's holding and take those first steps🙈

Clever girl! We're pulling up, cruising, crawling etc but not standing independently or walking yet

My girl started walking last week and she turns one on Sunday. I thought she was pretty bang on average but every baby is so different, she isn’t saying many words at all but not worried , they all catch up eventually

Mine walked at 9 months

My first didn't walk until he was 15 months... but he was feeding himself with a spoon at 7 months and speaking in sentences by age 2. It isn't a race and a child who does one thing earlier than others will do other things much later. They all develop differently. Stay in your own lane and don't worry about others 😊

My little girl is 1 on Thursday and has been walking for about a month! Shes very confident now and we’ve just got her first pair of shoes last week as she wants to walk EVERYWHERE! It’s early for walking but like above every baby is different and I’m sure there are other things that she will do later- for example she’s pointing but not properly waving yet! All different :) I’m a teacher too and by reception you won’t be able to tell who walked first etc! Xxx

1 today and he's been walking since he was 10mo. Was only told positive things at review. Take no notice.

I had our 9-12 month review last week and they said my little one is advanced for her age. She is virtually walking just unsure about letting go and doing it herself. Rolled over at 2 months and sat up at 3 months, crawled just before 7 months and stood on her own at 9 months and she can say several words. All babies learn and develop at different stages, just be proud of your little one and enjoy every moment even if it’s testing when they’re on the move🥰

Mines is walking strong now he crawled on New Years Day at 6 and a half months 1week later he was pulling up to stand and by week 2 walking I thought that was early. But he has his big brother for inspiration lol

My 11.5 month old is crawling but not walking. It's totally fine if your baby was walking at 10 months. It's not showing off its just that everyone is different. It is on the earlier side but still within normal realm. Some HVs are a bit pointless imo x
