Hey, my daughter has a wet cough (mucus) that just started yesterday. It's not too strong, but can I don't want it to become worse. It's the first time she has it. Any suggestions on how to prevent it from getting worse ?

Also, has anyone given honey to their 12 month old baby ? I would like to try natural remedies before resorting to any other medicine. Thank you 😊

My baby has honey several times a week since turning 1. She loves it.

My little girl has a cough quite often, lots of water and a humidifier in her room tends to help. Honey may help.

We took her to the hospital once for a cough and they said that for young babies there's honestly not a lot you can do for a cough other than let it pass, cough medicines are just full of sugar and they actually see more kids in A&E because of full body rashes that are caused by cough medicine than they do with bad coughs.

If you both need some sleep because the cough is keeping you up try placing a cut onion in her room - works wonders! Stinks, but works 🀣
