Whooping cough jab

Anyone else had terrible side effects of the whooping cough jab? Had it Friday and feel like I am coming down with what can only be described as the worst cold! Constantly freezing cold, headaches all over body aches just general feeling terrible? 😭

I just had it and nearly passed out 20 mins later

I had a bad reaction too - like you I felt freezing cold and couldn’t stop shivering. My whole body was involuntarily spasming in the middle of the night it was horrible! I had a horrible headache too. It was a 24 hour thing, I felt much better the following evening. Call maternity triage if you’re worried!

For bad reactions, you are best to call 111 or contact the GP. I spoke to a midwife yesterday and they didn’t know, looked up the side effects online. Then told me to rest. Said for health it’s better to contact 111 for advice. 😊
