Anyone had their GTT test come back positive? I didn’t have it with my first but seems I do with my second and I’m just so sad about it. Means I can’t birth in the same place I did my first as this classes you as a high risk pregnancy apparently.

It might depend on a birth centre, the one in the hospital I had my first in has a list of things that they class as risk factors and you’re allowed to have one if you have more than one then they wouldn’t accept you.
Things age, BMI, GD is ok if it’s diet controlled, being induced etc. I can’t remember the whole list but worth asking your midwife if it still might be possible if you don’t have other risk factors
I have it with my second so I’m consultant led again annoyingly!
I got my letter Monday about it 😢 I’ve not got my appointment until next Thursday, but I am trying to make changes now so it isn’t a big shock.
I was already planned for a c section for other reasons.
One positive is we get scans of baby regularly.
