Newborn bubble ruined with high BP

I had high BP during pregnancy from 32 weeks and it appeared to be managed with medication.
I’ve now had my son a week ago and since have ended up in hospital twice with rising BP. The medication no longer seems to be working and I feel so out of control in my body. My baby is so happy and settled but the stress of this is really upsetting me and taking me away from my husband and oldest daughter.
Has this happened to anyone else after birth? Were they able to stabilise your BP and how long did it take?

Mine was worse in the immediate postpartum period. I think it’s normal for it to get a little worse in that first week before it gets better. I was off medication by 6 weeks with both my children.

This is me right now. Struggling with it as I have been in and out of hospital due to it going higher. Feel like I’m not able to join my time with my baby and it’s overpowering everything. Hope it goes away soon
