How long for Ondansetron to work?

For me it starts working after 30 mins of taking it and will last me a good few hours. I take it when i wake up, just before lunch and then just after my tea. I’ve also been not eating anything too acidic to try and help with reflux feelings. Ondansatron is the only medication that’s worked for me, ive finally been able to eat and feel more normal. thanks Melissa, that's really encouraging to hear. I took my first dose at 3pm today and have felt a bit better already so wasn't sure if it was a placebo response! X

Oh I felt immediate improvement as I had the dissolvable ones but long term it helped gradually trying to find the right dose and how often to take it and finding my own response to the medication. I ended up taking it with xonvea and that was a dream team for me

My whole pregnancy for 5 1/2 months I was on the Zofran pump and it helped keep my food down and I was able to eat a lot of wonderful things then I graduated from the pump and I went to just taking the pill. Be honest through my whole pregnancy I was just sick . I don’t think any medicines gonna make help us 100% but it did help me 80% in my pregnancy. Had some setbacks, but it did help.

I took Ondanestron my whole pregnancy from 7 weeks right up until I gave birth to a happy healthy 9lb 6 boy! So don’t let anyone scare monger you about the tablets! They saved my life to be honest xxx
