I had my 39wk check up today and got my membrane sweep, 3 hours later I got my bloody show! No contractions aside from mild cramps. Due date is 6/10. Anyone have success with membrane sweeps and when did you go into labor after?

Following along because I have my 39 week appointment tomorrow and debating getting a membrane sweep but I’m so back and forth with it, I’m scared lol how was it? Did it hurt?
@Katie they are definitely not confortable!
Planning on having one tomorrow hopefully I’ll be dilated enough to have it done
@Katie it was uncomfortable but not painful! Lasted literally like 5 seconds
@Reagan I was only 1cm!
Please keep us updated on whether or not it works. I’m soo excited to have it done
Following! I just asked my doctor about getting one next week
I got a sweep on March 9, had some cramping and contractions that day. Went into labor March 10 and daughter was born March 11!!
I just got a sweep done today and so far nothing has happened yet but it can take 24-48hrs for labor to start after! Also I’m due June 9
I had a sweep last week on Wednesday, had some mild contractions after, lost my mucus plug and then nothing. I am 40 weeks now and trying to schedule an induction as soon as possible because it didn’t work. This is my second kid and last week I was 3 cm and 70% effaced so I really assumed it would work and so did my doctor, but it did not.
Got my sweep Friday and still no baby at my due date🙃
I've had 3 sweeps so far. No bloody show with the first two. Lots of cramping. I'm hoping the one I got today is gonna take (I'm at 40 weeks). Sending good vibes to everyone getting it done!
It worked for my second. Did it in the morning and went into labor that night
Update?
@Tay nothing since the bloody show. Baby boy is stubborn like his dad and wants to keep cooking
