My daughters dad caused social services to be involved in October. They’re still around now. He’s allowed supervised contact with her and I’m supervising. He’ll either come to me or I go to his so he can see her which I go there more. I have to leave my flat in a mess as he doesn’t like being at mine as I have no WiFi. So I go there tonight with my daughter. I change her nappy, I feed her, clean her and the mess from dinner and because I ask him to hold her his tone doesn’t sound happy and all he says is oh okay. This is constant. Like when we’re there she’s supposed to be with him and he’s supposed to take the responsibility of feeding changing etc considering he wants her on his own eventually. Then he’s on his bed with her and she’s rolling around. She’s only gone and fell down the gap at the top of his bed!! All because he’s too invested with his phone or TV. I took her from him and turned around with her to sooth her but omfg this is all becoming a joke. We have a social services meeting on Friday so I’ll have to say something then but what else am I supposed to do? I’m gonna have to tell him that he needs to come to me to see her and put in the effort and take responsibility. He’ll spend 30 mins of fun with her out of 4-8 hours with her and the rest falls on me. This is a joke.

I do not mean for this to come across in anyway rude I just really don’t know how to ask this question but, where were you when she fell down the gap? Just because socials will be asking the same question. Especially if your ex is supposed to be supervised by you 🙈

Ohhh okay that’s fair enough! Just a thought that came to mind as I know someone in a similar situation that’s all 🙈 he really does need to give his head a wobble by the sounds of it I don’t blame you for being as fuming as you are
I’ve got voice recordings of him telling my LG to shut up when she was a newborn. He’s never bothered with her unless I make the effort and give him an easy life. Even when I’ve told him I’m going to move back to the town I come from 20 mins away he gets the ump because I won’t be round the corner anymore. He’s only bothered about what he wants to do and his daughter isn’t anywhere near his top priority
I would definitely voice this to socials if you haven’t already! If I were you I’d still make that move if you’re able too. Then he’d have to make the effort to see her. And if he tries to pull the ‘she’s not letting me see her’ card, then you’ve got receipts to prove otherwise 🩷 I’ve always said an absent dad is better than an inconsistent one. You do what’s best for you and your daughter🩷
Check if it's legal to record the visits to have proof instead of he said she said!

I will definitely say this to them! I’m in temporary housing so I just need to keep bidding. He’s pulling the “I’m not going to be able to see her as much” card now but it’s not like he does anything anyway. Thank you!!

he told me in an argument that he thinks I don’t trust him after telling my LO to shut up and shaking his legs while he’s feeding her. Said he knew criminals and that my mum deserved to be sliced up 6 feet under so they’re in for possible domestic abuse
😳😲😡 Yikes! I absolutely see why a they’re involved! That’s scary stuff!!! I mean, the report was definitely warranted either way!!! That’s creepy at!!! Do you think that he’s really got the ‘friends’ to do it?
I don’t think he does but I don’t know them or what they could be capable of. But he was drinking at the time and afterwards changed the story which is another recording I got
