8 week vaccines

My little girls are tomorrow and I’ve been a mess the last few days worrying about it. How did it go? I hope he settles soon. We have calpol ready but no idea if she will have it :(

I’ve got a toddler so been there before but forgot how stressful it is. He cried for a few minutes after but a cuddle and some milk and he calmed down. I was worried about the calpol but if you use the syringe and put it into the side of her mouth towards her cheek and just do little bits at a time she should take it. He has settled down a lot after a nice warm bath. Think it’s just his tummy bothering him. Good luck tomorrow!

Mine had his yesterday. He slept for most the day and night but kept waking up and high pitched screaming. It was awful! He seems a lot better now thankfully. He got a little bit hot but no fever. He actually seemed to hate the Calpol more than the vaccines! He settled straight after with those.

From memory, totally normal. One of mine was unsettled and the other slept better than he’d ever slept. Can go either way. But I think that’s just the same with adults and injections 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope you’re both ok xx
