I think your worrying too much. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, all babies are different they all learn at different rates it will come eventually 😘. But the more you think about it and worry about it the harder you try and sometimes that can have a bad effect. One day she might even just pick it all up out of the blue! Haha. It will come ❤️ x

If you’re worried, I’d push for early intervention. Can you see a different pediatrician in the practice for a second opinion? I’m not super up on milestones at that point since I have a 2 month old, but I know waiting too long doesn’t make things easier if there’s actually something going on. I was talking to a pediatric OT at a class. She strongly encourages early intervention or at least early evaluation as it saves time in the long run

thank you i feel that doctors think im crazy saying she might catch up and she still has time until 18 months but its just the way she does things i find that she seeks sensory stimulation a lot she scratches carpets she rubs walls if she frustrates she smacks her head with both hands also when she gets upset from crying she gets a rash on her face everytime not sure if anything connected but yeah

i live in Canada unfortunately it’s really hard to get a pedietrician we didn’t get her ped until she was 7 months old .. i called a LOT of places from speech therapist to doctors etc all saying they rather wait until 18 months

I’d like to add also that she was late for blowing kisses but started doing it yesterday if i tell her to go sit down for bottle she climbs her stairs to the couch and go sit she understands a lot of commands when I talk to her she is smart but a bit behind on certain things

that’s reassuring wow thank you xxx she’s been cruising for a long time but few days ago started holding onto me and let’s go for few seconds to stand without support :)

So we were automatically signed up for PT at 3 months bc of birth defects. And our LO didn't start walking until 19m. They said they don't worry until about 18m. It sounds like your LO has all the precursors (which my LO had) for walking, she just needs the confidence. Her physical therapist suggesting having some supportive shoe time as it can help stabilize the kiddo (just make sure they are wide toed and have actual support not like Crocs or Sandals)

As for talking, according to the guidelines they don't need to make more than 3 words and sounds that don't sound like words but she says repeatedly for the same object is a word

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
