Scar open 10 weeks pp
I’m 10 weeks pp and have had never ending problems with my scar. Just when I thought it was healed the right hand side opened up and is weeping again. I’ve got antibiotics and the gp has seen it. How can I speed up the healing process and has anyone else had the same issue with their scar not healing?

Did they ever give you pads to stop it from rubbing up again your clothes or your skin??
Yup mine has taken a while to heal in just one spot too. 10 weeks also
yeah I’ve been putting a pad on my clothes to stop it rubbing x
I used the fridamom silicone patches under my belly binder and didn't carry anything but my baby to not put strain on it. I used pads the first 5 days but it kept getting like "glued"? to my incision so that's when my ob recommended the silicone. Also washed gently (with hands only) with dove sensitive hypoallergenic body wash
