Any Mama's using a more natural pain relief? I'm struggling to find anything available in the UK that isn't packed with E numbers

What’s e numbers?

I’d love to but there are limited out there and so expensive. I just use calpol but sparingly. My thoughts are that there are E numbers in a lot of food and it can’t always be avoided. If it helps her pain that’s what matters to me.

I give it if absolutely desperate but I prefer to use homemade natural remedies. Depends what it’s for, pain or fever

If it’s just fewer I let it run its course for 3-4 days and it will be fine. I give lots of vitamin C in bioavailable form. My older boys will drink nettle tea I usually pick locally with some locally sourced honey. We have Calpol in our house but it’s literally if they are in real pain and not fewer related. Once you realise that fewer is your body’s way of eliminating the toxins then you don’t want to “kill the temperature” as it stops the body doing its job.

I'm unsure for younger babies but definetly after one mixing garlic and(raw or the purest form you wish to use) honey together and leaving in a jar for a month and consume,
onion sliced, rub brown sugar into the surface, leave overnight produces a syrup/liquid that can be consumed.
Mullein tincture (vitamin c & flavonoids) good for respiratory issues
