Rotating toys is the best. Dont have to get new ones, just put them away for a little while and then bring them out again and they think it’s brand new!
It's developmental. They are learning about object permanence and that if they drop things you'll pick it up for them... and sometimes it's just a game lol
I think they think it’s a game for the most part. My baby does it too, she especially loves to throw balls out of her ball pit and laughs when I run after the ball. I put the ball back in and she she throws them out again, we do it until she is tired and wants out of the pit
My daughter does that. I’ve learned to stop picking it up and giving it back to her… she just moves on to the next thing.
