When to buy love to dream swaddle

Want to buy ASAP to be organised but do I literally wait until baby is born so I know what size to get? Or just go with newborn? We are going second hand.
Thanks x

My baby skipped newborn size and went straight to small. Given they are not cheap, I'd wait, but you could maybe get a couple of each and then re-sell if you want them from day 1?

We bought one off vinted and glad we did as little one absolutely hated to be swaddled from day one, we've always used sleep sacks instead where she's able to move her arms and legs, every baby is different and you don't know what they like until they're born so I'd keep your options open then get more of what suits your little one once they're here xx

I got a newborn one cheap of Vinted as I don’t think they’ll be in it that long but I think depending on babies size next one up could be abit big xx

I got a bigger size so I can use it for longer

My baby went straight to size small. She used it for two nights and then hated being swaddled so I ended up giving it to a friend who is due next month. It was £25 so an expensive thing to buy and not use. Should have got one from Vinted

I would wait! Not all babies like to be swaddled. My son was swaddled while we were in the hospital for five days and he didn't sleep more than an hour at a time and we brought him home and took the swaddle off and he slept like six hours at a time. He just hates being restricted lol

I would buy a newborn and a small. All my kids have used the newborn size and they love the love to dream swaddles.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
