i bought them for the 1st time with my 2nd, they are comfortable but pads stuck to them and ripped.. i asked for extra hospital ones to take home. and still had some left over. i wouldn’t spend my money on them again

I didn’t use the Frida’s, but honestly I bought depends and just used those and changed them as frequently as you would need to change the pads. It was faster for me with a NICU baby, but I’d recommend it overall. It was more comfortable than the giant pads and weird disposable underwear to me.

They give you all these supplies at the hospital

I loved the Frida ones

Personally, I felt like I needed the help of adult diapers. They were the best. The depends

I got two packs when I had my daughter, so comfortable.

no just get the depends or generic versions they’re exactly the same

For me I bought them and concept was good, but I bought them smaller than needed so that was a little annoying. They are comfortable still, but when you put a pad on them they do rip so that is annoying to. I would suggest get overnight period underwear. I did have the alway brand in black, it’s like a diaper, no need to put pads or anything. Which is convenient because you’re not going to want to do much. They are more comfortable than the Frida because they have a built in pad . I even use it for my time of the month and it’s a 10/10

I’m a ftm too but everyone ive talked to says to skip the mesh underwear and skip straight to depends. I got the Always discreet Boutique which I will pair with homemade padsicles. I’m hoping that will work out haha. I will say don’t rely solely on what you will get from the hospital because some don’t provide as much as you’d think

I didn’t like them I wore them 2 days and bled out of every pair. I ended up getting adult diapers on the way home and it was the way to go! I totally skipped straight to them with my second. I do recommend most of the other frida products though!

I oddly liked the hospital provided ones better than the Frida ones. The hospital ones were more comfortable, and the Frida ones felt stiffer. Of course, I could only take so many from the hospital, so I used the Frida ones when those ran out.

I really loved the Frida ones

I love both discreet and frida and always get both! Frida in the beginning when you might be using a lot of pads, or tucks pads, witch hazel, etc. And the depends discreet are just super comfortable, especially when the bleeding let's up!

100% agree with the comments about both asking for extra underwear, pads, ice packs etc from the hospital and also I bought adult diapers BUT make SURE you get scent free like make sure the package says that because I thought I was buying unscented and I wasn’t and it irritated all the parts that were healing that tore.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Baby with chronic congestion

Hi everyone! My 1 year has been a congested baby since birth almost. She breathes through her mouth so often that it wakes her up multiple times at night and she cries and screams and then struggles to go back to sleep. She wakes up every 1-3 hours and sometimes can’t go back to sleep for 2-3 hours!!! Piriton is the only thing that seems to help her sleep mostly through the night but I can’t keep giving her that!!
Does anyone have tips as to have I can do or give her? Has anyone experienced? I have no idea when I’ll get an ENT appointment and I have no idea what he can give a 13 mo :( we are desperate for sleep so any tips are welcome!! We have tried steam inhalation, saline drops, vapour rubs and everything off the counter basically!

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?
