Can anybody help me with where I’m going wrong? All the dials are green but there is so much movement!
When I had this seat with my son I swear it never has this much movement,

You just have to tighten the bits that connect to the isofix points! We have one as well and there is quite a bit of movement but I don’t think there is that much… will check ours and post another comment!

The weight of baby in the seat will reduce movement, and there will always be some movement to absorb energy in a crash.

Here is ours (just the base) there is a bit of give like Sarah said but not nearly as much as yours. The white clip on the side is level with the bolt on ours (about half way! If you look at your video that clip is all the way to the right!) It may take two people to tighten!

Mine was moving loads too! I took it to mamas and papas to be checked and they said it’s fine as long as all bits are green. They fit different cars in different ways. I had a Ford fiesta with my first and there was zero movement but now I’ve got a bmw 1 series and there’s a lot of movement. I have noticed it barely moves when I’m driving and when babies weight is in it it shouldn’t move at all 😊

Isofix is a wobbly install. It's just a hook around a bar so there's not a lot to hold it tight and stop it from moving. Movement is normal and to be expected

Movement is needed for impact forces. Just like a rollercoaster wobbles and bends, if it’s too rigid it snaps.
Do some adjustments (sometimes it’s that the car seat is the wrong angle and just not fit for a car seat sadly) but don’t stress about the wobble.

Thankyou Shannon! I’ll have my partner take a look tomorrow, I couldn’t really reach round the other side and bumps too big to get in front of it haha but hopefully that will help and make it a little more sturdy :) xx
