Which method are you using to teach him things?

English & Spanish & more ASL. Potty training. Counting to 20 (currently only gets up to 15, skips 13 lol). Counting by 10's & by 100's. Days of the week. Shapes. Colors (don't forget things like hot pink, light blue, etc... give them range). Teach them all that you want them to know. Literally. Want them to know measuring cups while you make food? Teach that. Want them to know how to make your coffee? Teach them how to turn on the machine, have them fill it, etc.. teach them routines, your routines. Montessori is my favorite. They are so eager to learn, so teach them everything lol. A good one is our car iPad (for long trips ONLY) we put our phone number for the password. Hes learned that without even knowing how important it is.

wow this is great.
Thank you so much.
I’m writing all this down lol
Do you have a certain schedule? Like numbers one day letters another day?

Not really. Its constant. He counts his toys now when he's "independent" playing and has been counting his cut up strawberries lol
I do have themes for the day though!! For example - Tuesday is trash day in our neighborhood, so this is "helper car day". We watch "Trash Truck" on Netflix, Helper Cars on YouTube, etc... we color fire trucks, and play with his own helper cars throughout the day.. we even have a trash truck we found on Amazon that watch's tv and the trash truck as it comes in front of the house.
For ABC's we like "Shawn the train & Alice" on YT. It's super calm. We watch it before bed
I like coilbook, brain candy tv (where he learned to count by 10's).
This sounds like a lot of screen time, but we only limit it to 2-3hrs a day. We have posters, puzzles, etc.. and we are in the yard most of the day too. Making bathtime an essential everyday. But here we have helper cars, bath alphabets lol... it's everywhere.
He helps draw his bath, throws in the toys he wants, etc

Again - have them be a part of your day! They thrive with routine!!
Also - as they're learning - for example how to make your coffee. Expect a mess. Embrace it, laugh, encourage, praise and repeat. My little enjoys making my coffee. He has a fake plastic singing coffee cup and presses it and dances as he pours my milk & sugar into the cup lol
Have fun! They won't be this small forever ❤️❤️❤️

Also - I narrate the tv too!
If they're saying, "can we count to ten?!" " I say let's count to 10 baby! Are you ready?!" And we go along with the tv. I'm so animated lol. Sometimes it's exhausting and yes I scroll on my couch when he's playing by himself sometimes, bc we need breaks too. But for the most part, be "annoying" and narrate everything you do!
Good luck momma! 🧸

Thank you so much for all this seriously a lot of the TV shows. Do you have on here? I’ve never even heard of.
I’m Hispanic so I am trying to teach him Spanish that’s his dad and everybody else speak to him in English. I don’t know if it’s confusing to him or what but I am really really trying to push that Spanish into his little brain.

fo you have a link of the trash truck ? Our trash day is Wednesday lol I think he’s a bit scared of the trash truck because it’s loud but loves to watch trash truck on Netflix lol

I just turned on Shawn the train & Alice and it’s soooooooo good 🙌🏻
