What are people buying for October babies, I’ve gotten long sleeve and full leg, some short sleeve and no leg, been looking at pram suits and swaddles, just gotten a bit overwhelmed and now unsure of what I will actually need

I've got a mix to be honest. I've got little cardigan sets, long sleeve cotton bodysuits, because I'm wondering whether we'll still have warm weather (I'm due early October)

I’m the end of October so I’m presuming it’ll be colder, so I keep thinking a 2.5 tog sleep suit but then remember the house will be heated so would a 1.5 be better

@Donna I've got a 2.5 and 1.5 sleeping bags just in case. It's hard to gauge I think

You can use cellular blankets tucked in all round the sides with your baby placed at the very bottom of the Moses basket for sleep as most sleeping bags are too big for newborns and not safe.

With my first (born end of October 21) I had around 10 sleep suits and 10 short sleeve bodies, a couple of hats and one cardigan. I've bought another 2-3 cardigans for #2 as I'll definitely be going out more this time around, but they're in the newborn size for just a couple of weeks so it's not really necessary to have loads of stuff. Once he was up to the 0 - 3 size is when I had more of the long sleeve bodies, sleep suits and a couple of 2.5 tog Tommy Tippee sleeping bags (which are I think the smallest you can find usually).

I’ve got for 2.5 tog love to dream swaddles! The guidance says that’s between 16-20 degrees. So I’m hoping that’ll be okay🤞🏽

Get one pram suit cos they get cold as they are just laying there, while we are walking so it won’t seem so cold to us. Get some knitted bits they seem to keep babies warm as well
