Cooling down room

I’m in the same boat exactly! 28 degrees and little man is just a short sleeve vest and nappy! I’ve got two fans going and the temp IS NOT BUDGING 😭

Hey hun. Not sure about cooling the room down but ways I cooled down babygirl when we didn’t have a AC unit.

Put dummy in fridge
Put bottle in fridge so she had a cooler drink
Used wipes to cool baby down
Gave cooler baths
Put baby on tummy time water pillow with cold water

Fan infront of open window to draw in the air

Do you face the fan towards the window to make the air cooler?

I soak a muslin in cold water, wring it out and let it rest then put it in my lo's head and neck intermittently, she is absolutely boiling there

I’ve got the exact same problem. Luckily we have 2 fans. One at the door drawing in cold air from the hallway and one at the window drawing hot air out x

I would maybe put bubs in just a nappy and she if that helps cool them down

exactly the same here and we’re still sitting at 27.7😩

Fans just make things worse in my opinion. I haven’t had a fan on today in my girls room and granted it’s still warm but it would’ve been a lot warmer with a fan on. I always give her a cooler bath before bed when the weathers like this but tbh my girl is just really good with the heat it doesn’t phase her one bit🤣
I just think when you know the weathers gonna be warm you need to black out the window and keep the window open a tiny bit. The more the window is open it’s just letting hot air in. My girls room is facing towards the sun literally alll day until it sets but I did find a fan made it so much worse in there

I’d highly recommend a air con unit. I know there a little pricey but 100% worth it, I have it in my LOs nursery as she’s still in with us and let the cool air come through to our room, I put it on a hour or 2 before bed and brings the temp right down, temp before I put it on was 28 it’s currently at 21 x

No need for a vest in this heat:)
