Crawling baby

Is anybody else’s crawling baby constantly bonking their head on stuff or is mine just feral? She’ll be sitting fine and suddenly just fall over and hit her head or she’ll crawl right into the wall or furniture. I want to protect her and I feel like it happens a lot but also it’s so sudden!

Yes my boy does this constantly and within 2vweeks of crawling he’s pulling up to stand and falling lol he had lots of little head bruises but has always been fine :) and just keeps on cruising

My boy just started crawling this week and he doesn't look where he's going so he randomly runs into stuff 🤣🤣 but he's also pulling him self up on atuff (started this before crawling but happening more now) surprisingly he does pretty good catching himself

Mine started ar 6 months and now at seven is pulling and standing confidently… yup- mine has taken a few good hits… it only lasted a few days… they will be fine terrifying tho

My son was doing that the first few weeks he was crawling but now 6₽/5: it’s been 2 months already he rarely topples over or hits his head

Mine isn’t crawling yet, I’m wondering if girls take a bit longer.

Lmao why is this my son. He is a wild child. I literally have to keep him from crawling off the bed because he will just go for it😂. Boys are just built different cause how you see the drop an just throw yourself off of it. His been doing this since about 5months. An his fine never seems to hurt his self. He pulls up on everything now to. An it freaks me out because his been trying to let go of stuff an just slaps the wall😂

from what I’ve heard girls are usually sooner but every baby is different- my baby is also the height of an 11 month old- but her weight is 45% because she’s so tall- so it really all just depends- is she rolling / sitting etc?

Avatar

lol my girl is like this too- but she has a crazy amount of energy.. she’s definitly taken some tumbles because she moves so fast.. even if I’m within a foot of her.. it’s just impossible to catch every single one- but she’s okay!

Avatar

yes little speedy thing like how are you so fast. His sister caught him one day cause he just threw himself at her😂. Just a wild little baby

Avatar

yes she is sitting and has rolled, but not consistently. Her head is 95% maybe that has something to do with it. 🤣

Avatar

omg my girl tries to throw herself off the bed too 😂😂 I’m glad to hear everyone’s babies are crazy but also ok 😅

Avatar

girl yes😂. Im like what are you doing dude. Im like is this normal my other 3 never did that. My 5 year old was walking by 8months but wasn’t throwing himself off the bed like his brother be doing😂. Like sir sit your butt down

Avatar

Yep mine too. She is 7 months old and not the strongest crawler but she wants to walk more than she wants to crawl. She is already using things to stand up with. I have her in a bassinet right now but I’m getting her a crib this week because she keeps standing up in her bassinet.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
