Advice?
I’m going on holiday next week, & I’ve been to the doctors for a pill that stops you bleeding as I’m due on whilst I’m there.. & I have (pretty bad periods).. I’m 9 weeks pp after and emergency c-section.. I told the doctor this.. he prescribed me the tablets but said I’m a risk of blood clots 😩.. he also told me everyone when flying has a risk of blood clots but the tablets don’t help. I’m so scared To take them! I’ve had one bleed since having my baby.. surely I’ll be ok? 😩 has anyone taken these tablets after a C-section?
I’m also aware some contraception can cause blood clots.. I just don’t know what the difference is.. if I was to be on contraception and flying abroad 🤷🏼♀️

Yeah I’ve taken these tablets twice since my emergency csec. I’m 10 months pp now and took the first lot at about 12 week pp. both times were for holiday purposes. I was absolutely fine. I just made sure I wore my flight socks both times and took regular walks on the plane and lots of water x

I just heard the word blood clot and panicked.. I know they have to make you aware of the side effects but it scared me to death 😩 xx
yeah of course! I understand they need to stress the side effects but he made me feel like I was definitely going to get a blood clot if I was to take them! 😩 xx
