Went for a viability scan at what I thought was 7.5 weeks. Been told it’s unlikely to be viable pregnancy (possible bleeding in the sac and only slight flicker) They’ve booked me in at the EPU next week.
Anyone had this experience? No bleeding at all or pain and my symptoms are all still there.

yes

Can I ask how you had a viability scan so early without any bleeding? My SIL has been having spotting but the midwife has told her it's probably implantation bleeding so hasnt been called in to be seen.
Hope everything works out well for you x
I paid for a private scan just to see before 12 weeks if it developing as it should. We didn’t book it for that purpose - I didn’t think I was miscarrying because I have absolutely no signs. My understanding is there should be a strong heartbeat from like 6.5 weeks x

Is 7.5 weeks based on your last period or their measurements? How far along did they say you are? Is it possible you ovulated later than cycle day 14, if so it could just be early & you'll go on to have a healthy pregnancy. But it's also possible they're right & you're having a missed miscarriage. Hopefully the former & not the latter. I hope your scan goes well next week
yeah definitely possible, but she wasn’t suggesting I was just earlier than expected because it’s based of my period not ovulation date. Thank you x

I went for a scan at what we thought was 6 weeks (NHS) as we’re high risk for miscarriages following many early ones and we were told it was unlikely to be viable as the sack was tiny, they have to go off last date of period..
turns out, I ovulated late, they brought us back a week later and we had a yolk sack inside the GS and then 2 weeks later at 7 weeks we had a flicker of a heartbeat but barely anything.. 3 weeks later we were back again and we had a little baby looking shape with a heartbeat and now he’s 8 weeks old..
I’m not saying it’s the same at all and I really hope it’s just you’ve ovulated later than they predict from your period and everything is okay 🤍
People do get little bleeds and it works out okay but so early on it’s a huge risk..
sending all the love and wishes your way that this works out okay for you 🤍
thank you so much for this and congrats on your little boy xxx
