My baby is calling me Emma
It’s very close to mama and I’m so happy that this is her first word, but Emma is not my name.
What should I do? Change my name by deed poll? Replace myself with someone called Emma? Maybe I should Quietly let her know that she’s mistaken or must have misheard but I don’t want to discourage her from having the confidence to talk.

I think she’s telling you she wants to be called Emma, maybe try changing her name to Emma instead! Hope this helps
