How can I find out

Is PayID a thing in the states? I'm in Australia but here people link their phone numbers to their bank account and if you choose to pay someone by PayID and enter the phone number it shows their name if they are registered

For privacy reasons im pretty sure the police can't tell you who it is but they might be able to keep a report in case anything happens if you're feeling intimidated or contact them to stop before it reaches harassment level.

Could also save the number as a contact and see if in snapchat it shows you your new contact with a user name that might give away who it is or have someone else call back from a different number they wouldn't know is related to you.

Honestly best option might be to temporarily turn on the setting that blocks private calls and block the other numbers they use. They can only give through so many numbers before they run out or get bored and move on
