33 weeks. Been told baby’s head down, but I haven’t felt any kick in the ribs?!?! I thought that it was normal to get kicked there?? Not saying I want baby to do so 🤣but why is she not? Makes me worried her legs don’t work lol or she’s too small xx
I am also at the stage where I don’t feel a lot of kicks if any at all like early one- just movements/ sliding around. Is this normal?!

I'm only 29 weeks and also don't feel any kicks upwards, baby is also head down, her legs definitely work 😆 but on ultrasound her legs were pointed more towards my side, like she was a bit bent in half haha so that might be why. My placenta also seems to be sitting high, maybe yours is too?

Just because she is head down doesn't mean she's legs up. Mine often has her bum up and her legs curled under her.

Getting kicked at the ribs is not fun at all 😭 You are not missing out on anything 😅 But all jokes aside, I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about, especially if she is measuring normal and is developing properly! If there was anything to be worried about they would have told you at your scans. Plus she’s still moving so that’s a very good sign! Mine used to kick a lot but now it’s mostly sliding around too, I get the odd kicks but not like before. Maybe your baby is just saving all her energy for when she’s out! 😂 x
haven’t had a scan since 20 weeks and she was measuring perfectly, so hoping this hasn’t changed. Going for first growth scan at 34 weeks next week fingers crossed she’s okay!!
I’m sure it’s not fun lol bless you!!

Could just be that baby is kicking placenta, organs or is scrunched knees. As long as youre still feeling your regular movement dont be concerned

If you are concerned, or just for a peace of mind, you can always go into the hospital to get her checked. Push them for a scan so you feel better. Or you could pay for a private scan and do a growth and measurement scan?
