So itchy!!

Started itching lower belly, community midwife said it was due to stretching. Last 2 days it’s spread to legs and feet and I’ve had a rash come up.
Had blood tests at hospital and confirmed it’s nothing serious
Just told me to take loratadine or piriton but it’s not helping!!
Only thing that helps for short time is cold compress.
Anything else that helps???

So sorry you’re going through this. It can be extremely frustrating. This was my routine: shower with grandpa pine tar soap, lather the soap and put the lather on my body leaving it for 1-2 minutes, rinse off with cold water, then I’d make a paste with baking soda and apply on my bump and other itchy parts of my body, leave the paste on for a minute and rinse off with cold water, then I step out of the shower and dry off by dabbing the towel not rubbing, then I apply calamine lotion all over my body at night and during the day I’d do just my bump. The rashes and itching left after doing this for a few days. Before then I had tried moisturizing, hydrocortisone cream, Claritin and found no relief. I’d do these things twice a day but be careful not to overdo the baking soda because it can burn especially if you’ve been scratching. Hope you find relief soon

Try Dandelion root tea or supplements. That was the only thing that helped me.
