Rash - sun allergy?
Does anyone here have sun allergy, either developed after pregnancy or before? How did you treat it?
I don't have any known allergies, but in the last few days, I've experienced a rash on both my arms and neck, which looks like an allergic reaction to something. It also stings a bit and is sometimes itchy. The only reason I suspect it's a reaction to the sun is because the rash calmed down when it rained the whole day, and I wasn't exposed to the sunlight for 2 days!
Today, however, the rash is back, and I've been out and about but not for prolonged time. I'm breastfeeding currently, and as far as I understood, taking antihistamines is not recommended.
I'll book a GP appt tomorrow, but I'm curious to know if anyone else here has had it and how it was treated.

I developed an allergy to sun a few years back, but it only happens when I have been exposed too much. The doctor prescribed a corticosteroid cream which worked a treat
Could be eczema, I’ve developed it in the last 2 months on hands and feet and I’m 9months pp. The heat makes it flare up more and when it’s cool it’s not as itchy. Maybe look at switching hand soaps and other washing up etc products that can aggravate it
