Meds

Tried taking my son off one of his ADHD meds so we can get him to eat and drink stuff during the day but he’s back to yelling and screaming about everything so we are going to have to put him back on them.

Have you looked into the natural ways of treating him?

no

Is it that he’s appearing hyper or that he’s appearing angry in the yelling and screaming ? Or both?

angry, yelling and screaming. He gets mad if anyone is talking or his sister starts crying. I wish he was hyper. Last night he had a bad night. He was up half the night and was crying and screaming if I left the room.

So I need more details to know if I’m on the right track in what I’m thinking, but I might have some helpful insight & resources for ya

we haven’t changed anything just took him off his morning meds to see if we could get him to eat and drink since he’s lost some weight. He was fine the 1st two days then started having issues.

The general thing that I think about when hearing that it’s appearing as anger is PDA, but I don’t know the specific situations that spark the behavior so 🤷‍♀️

I also have just the base suggest of offering earmuffs or headphones as an accommodation to him not being able to tolerate the sounds & noises around him.
