Pregnancy pillows

Help! I need some advice on pregnancy pillows. I'm 20 weeks and I have a SnuzCurve and a Baby Bub pillow. Both were given to me by others which I am super grateful for. However, I find I'm waking up a lot on my back. 😫 Has anyone got any recommendations to stop me from rolling over? I've tried the traditional pillow but it keeps falling out the bed! 🤣 At this point I'm wondering if a draught excluder is the way forward 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would say don't worry about it. Your body wakes you up when you are on your back as a nudge to roll over. As long as you fall asleep on your side don't stress.

It will take a hell of a lot and a really long time to harm baby by lying on your back. You will have to feel pretty rough first and your body wakes you up way before you get to that point xx

Thanks for the reassurance Kirsty 💜 really appreciate it. I was getting bogged down with worrying about it. 😔

Don’t worry about it too much, side sleeping is more crucial from 28 weeks as baby is much bigger then

I suddenly became a back sleeper weeks after falling pregnant with my first. My midwife reassured me that complications were only likely rise if I was completely flat (and as said above for a long time) so she was like even the slightest prop up would make a big different for risks. So I just layered my pillows so my upper half was slightly raised if that makes sense. Or I’d lay half my back on the pregnancy pillows so I was slightly tilted.

Did this with both bubbas and didn’t have any complications 🤞🏻
