If so do you size up or not? Thinking if I need to get some for my hospital bag or will the loose-ish bralettes do for the first few days, as they’re easy to pull down for breastfeeding if necessary.

In hospital in really doesn’t matter, you can just pull your bra down. More for everyday breastfeeding. You don’t breastfeed that often in hospital for it to be annoying.
But it can’t hurt having one if you want. Would just start wearing it when you get home. Makes it easier in the night as well x

I needed some for sure as I went up a few sizes but it might be easier to just have some loose ones like you say for the hospital and then you can get ones that fit properly once you see how big you get! I did find them really useful but agree that it's less important for the hospital. I got some M&S ones when I had my son which were great, planning on reusing them this time

I just had a couple cheap nursing sport bra type things the first time. I found them useful as I have quite big boobs and was constantly having to keep trying to feed my girl because she was always hungry and crying. Then once home and it was obvious I was going to be carrying on I ordered more bras. I'd have to wear them overnight to keep the breast pads in place for leaks so needed a few. A loose bralette will probably be fine for hospital but you'll definitely need them for home as they are a lot easier going forward. I'd just start with a cheap one though and then spend a bit more later on

As someone who had big boobs beforehand and has done pregnancy, breastfeeding and pregnant again with no break and up to a H cup they are definitely necessary. I buy cheap m&s ones for the hospital/till my milk settles then I buy a couple of bravissimo/hot milk ones which are amazing for big boobs!
