It is a vary good thing to have. It protects your baby from strong form of rsv virus that can be life threatening.

I had it when I was pregnant and I'm thankful I did as my friends baby came very early just a few months before me and two days before she was due to have the RSV, unfortunately her baby then at 4 weeks old contracted RSV and bronchiolitis and was hospitalised for 4 days with oxygen etc - newborns are so vulnerable to just the smallest of common colds that we could have, it can be fatal, they do advise it's best to get it if you can to prevent those things happening, but it's your body and your baby and no one can force you

as I heard mixed things about the vaccine and the nhs and Google doesn’t give me a clear picture about it as it’s a classed as a new vaccine as no one I know has had it or have got offered it, but I’ll be definitely booking for the vaccine in the morning thanks

Yes it’s good a thing, I had it and had no side issues at all. Plus a blessing to know baby in covered for it too

Definitely a good thing, there have been far fewer babies hospitalised with RSV since the vaccine became available on the NHS last autumn. It's only new in the UK- the US has had it for a while.
