I’m panicking a little bit about my babies babbling. They coo (did this early on) and make “oooo” and “mmmm” sounds when concentrating but no real “baba” sounds or “da-da-da.” They are making raspberries and been doing this for a little while, but think I’m just worrying! They are 7 months and 2 weeks old at the moment but were born around 3 weeks early. Not sure if they should be hitting more milestones to do with speaking at this stage, or if I need to be more patient. Just wondering if anyone has a similar experience?😊

My lO is pretty much the exact same age also born early (4 weeks) and he is exactly the same!

My baby boy is not doing any babbling either and my oldest daughter was doing all mama /dada at 7.5 m and clapping hands but i think boys are different as they want to move more instead being vocal
Aww thank you both so much!!! Yes I feel like he’s much more into moving/shuffling around atm!! Xx

My LO is almost eight months old and still no real signs of babbling. Sometimes it sounds like he's saying "mama" and I get excited but it's just him making noises and exploring his voice. 😅

LO is 8 months and no signs of any babbling or anything other than a really high pitch squeal which she finds very funny when she’s doing it in the middle of the shopping centre 🤣
