Hi everyone! I currently have the solly baby wrap and the baby bjorn mini carrier for my little guy. He’s 6 weeks old🩵 the baby bjorn has been nice and he likes it, but there’s no back support so it hurts to baby wear him for a long time. With the solly baby wrap, he hates it sometimes and loves it other times so I need another option on hand.
All this to say, any moms have experience with/insights on the Wild Bird Aerial Carrier vs the Mabe Monarch Carrier? Torn between the two and would love your opinions!

I just got the momcozy newborn buckle carrier which is sized for a newborn still but has the back support that the babybjorn doesn’t! Once he’s bigger I have the Portier carrier which is similar to mabe/wild bird but they all require baby to be slightly bigger to fit safely

Love my Mabe carrier! It’s super comfortable and easy to put on

I have wild bird and my 11lb 7wk old feels weightless in it

I was also between the 2 and went with Mabe because it seemed a little more structured and I don’t regret it! SUPER comfy and soft but also supportive as well.

I loveeeee my Mabē carrier! It’s so comfy and so easy to get on!

I have a 6 week old that’s 11 and 1/2 pounds. I have the Mabe and I don’t feel like he fits the structured carrier well yet. Between the lack of head support and even on the smallest hip setting, he still feels too small for it. That being said, I watched a lot of reviews and I think the mabe and wildbird are practically the same in comparison.
If budget isn’t a factor, I do have the wildbird buckle wrap carrier and I absolutely love it. It’s basically a hybrid between a structured carrier and a wrap so you get the best of both. If you are interested in trying it, I recommend ordering it through target because you’ll have an easier time returning if you don’t like it. I think Wildbird only does exchanges or store credit for returns.

Ali makes a good point… mine was the same weight at 6wks and he’s 11wk now.. somewhere north of 15lbs and we are just getting to the point where he kiiiiind of fits hip wise on the smallest setting. I combatted that by scrunching the fabric in more but it’s not perfect. But we also have an ergo baby bc my fiancé wanted something more masculine so we used that on longer sessions til he got a little longer.

Originally got the solly wrap but my lower back would start hurting almost immediately after putting my LO in it. Now using the Tula Explore and love it! It has a pocket for your phone and can be used from newborn to toddler stages
