Kendamil mammas in the US are we boiling water for bottles? I’m reading such mixed things online. I know they technically recommend it for all formulas but so many people are saying they never do it and baby is totally fine. We’re switching to this formula in the morning so I’m thinking of preparing bottles tonight

I’ve never boiled water

I’ve never boiled water.

I only use boiled water. Also using Kendamil Goat.

I think I boiled water once. I talked to my mom and sisters and they didn't. We use filtered water but that's it

The can also says not to prepare and keep. How to get the benefit of pre preparation?

I use distilled water and Kendamil goat

I use kendamil whole milk and when I warm the bottle, I only do the water and so it gets really hot and bubbles but it doesn’t technically “boil” it and then I add the formula and shake it up and let it cool while I change my kids diaper. I haven’t boiled it technically and my kid is fine. It says it just helps kill any bacteria but I can’t always use fresh boiling water but my son is fine. Do what you feel is best momma❤️

We live in a place with generally high water quality and I also have robust big babies so we didn’t worry about it. Just tap water. If you have questionable water quality or a baby prone to illness, I’d err on the side of caution.
