Breast Feeding and Vaping (THCA)

I don’t vape. I smoke flower and I had told my midwife but all she told me was that there hasn’t been enough research to ensure what the risks truly are but that obviously it’s been used for medicine for thousands of years and to do my own research and if I feel comfortable to do what I felt best especially if it helps with mental health. I do smoke 3-5x a week and I did it with both of my kids. My kids are both thriving and healthy.

If you do feel scared to nurse, I would just keep the milk with a special symbol and use that milk for baby baths ☺️ it’s great for the skin. Or you can use it for your own skin too

So contrary to a lot of people’s beliefs and what is deemed wrong and right, I smoked flower all throughout breastfeeding. Twice. I never had any complications, my babies are just as advanced as other children their age and my daughter who is almost 5 now is more advanced and is smarter than any child I’ve known at her age. I’m not saying cannabis contributed to that, we don’t know, all I’m saying is me being one mama- I had zero complications ❤️

Not at all! I was still doing everything I would normally do, cannabis didn’t make me any less of a mother, in fact it makes me more patient and able to think clearer when the house is hectic 😂
People think that mothers whom smoke flower are like crack addicts. Apparently we’re lazy, we don’t do anything for our children, our houses are messy etc etc but that couldn’t be further from the truth for a lot of mothers ❤️

I know this girl, her man works in a plant and he had her breast milk tested and virtually nothing showed up and she was a pretty regular flower smoker! But i definitely agree with Stephanie! Knowledge is power, trust your judgement. Weigh the risks and rewards.
