Reflux milk lumpy and blocking teats

Our daughter has cow and gate reflux and regurgitation milk which has helped massively with her suffering from silent reflux …

However

There is no teat that I have tried that allows the milk through and we’ve had to cut some slighly bigger slits in the top of her bottles to allow the milk through, the milk also is 9/10 times got some lumps in it which we have to squeeze the teat so they come out…

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can stop it from doing this ?

For reference we make her bottles using the hot shot method and already have to shake the milk to try and avoid lumps otherwise it’s an absolute nightmare and is even worse than when we do shake it.

I used this with my daughter and I found the same issue when I used the hot shit method, it dissolved a lot better when I used a full bottle (whatever oz you are on) and then cooled it after
Also a really good shake, like 20 seconds

I use hipp anti reflux for my LB - we use mam size 2 teat but he managed to get the milk out through a size 1 and 0.

Hot shot method is defo best as it dissolves the powder more - we have the tommee tippee prep machine but when I make them with the rapid cool using hot shot method, I put about 50-60ml in as a hot shot and that works wonders! Too little hot shot will make it lumpy as there’s not enough water to mix it

My first had thickened formula and only got on with the tommee tippee variflow, annoying though because only that brand does it! (Others do y cut but it doesn’t depend on baby’s suck it will still just come out) xx

We use this formula and use an ‘X’ mam teat, but he is 9 months old. We make the bottle fresh with boiling water, shake until all dissolved and then we use the nuby rapid cool

Baby moisturiser (UK)

What are we using for baby moisturisers please ladies?
I started with aveeno because he has sensitive skin and had a lot of rashes when he was born, just can’t afford to spend £9 a bottle when we use it every day!😮‍💨
We’ve tried Aldi moisturiser and Johnson’s moisturiser, they are ok, just wondering what you guys use and would recommend? 🫶🏻

Hey everyone *im New here* 👋🏼

This is probably normal, My baby is six weeks today - in the daytime after a feed, change and tummy time he will go to sleep with no fussing etc in his DockAtot ( supervised ) i have now been taking him into his next to me instead for a nap as newborns sleep all the time.

But in his next to me hes very fussy and moves about a lot .. this is also the same in the night time, any suggestions?

Thank you ❤️x

A full 8 hours

My 1 month and five week old newborn just slept 8 hours. I genuinely don’t know who blessed me, but good lord am I thankful. We really only woke up a few times to put her binky back in her mouth. She did just got home from the NICU and adjustment was pretty hard for the past few nights, so she certainly deserves a lot of sleep. Just happy to see her feeling more comfortable.

Baby hates me?

Why does my baby hate me. All she wants from me is to be fed and then screams and screams at me, she settles with everyone else and i don't understand what im doing wrong. I feel like the worst mum ever and am really struggling.
