Pros and cons of having baby #2

I’ve just had my second and it’s so much better than expected. My first has taken to him really well and baby has fit right in. You find what works for you. I breastfeed so find it easier co sleeping with my newborn so I just put him on every feed meanwhile my first sleeps in his own room about 12 hours every night. Sleep wise I am very lucky I am getting a full night (with feeding every 2 or so hours). It’s early days of course but for the minute it’s been lovely

congratulations! I’m glad to hear it’s working so well for you.
My husband is worried about the cost of having two children, needing a bigger house, the risk of them not getting on and the risk of child birth.
He’s said he’s willing to have another if I have my heart set on it but I feel like I’m forcing him into something he’s possibly going to resent me for.
I just need him to see the positives of having two!

Thank you, I was an only child and grew up very lonely I would play with my friends but when I went home I had only myself. I have a half sister but the age gap is 14 years between us so we have nothing in common and don’t speak. I wanted my first to have a sibling and closer in age. Money returns. We live in a two bed house and my first has his own room for a minute. We are lucky they are both boys so can have a bunk bed in future. I would of rather had a sibling to fight with than none at all

I’ve had my second, 15.5months between them… wouldn’t change it for the world! They already have a great bond and interactions, there will definitely be arguments but they’ll never know any different, always have each other and will be playing with the same level of toys before I know it. Didn’t really need to buy anything new but they are both boys. If you already know you want a second I think it would be hard to decide otherwise…. Good luck with whatever you decide ❤️
